Sony Releases Trailer 2 For The Upcoming Uncharted Movie

Sony has unvieled trailer 2 for the upcoming 2022 Uncharted movie staring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg. The movie which takes inspiration from the PlayStation games (obviously) and has been 10 years in the making due to countless number of scripts being ripped up and more delays than a busy airport, but finally we’re in the final stretch before the movie is officially released in the United Kingdom on February 11, 2022 and a week later in the United States on February 18, 2022. As well as Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg starring, the movie also features Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle and Antonio Banderas.

The Uncharted movie is a prequel of sorts which sees Nathan Drake (Holland) and Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Wahlberg) at the beginning of their escapades together on their treasure hunting around the globe. Street-smart thief Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago. What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world’s oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate’s long-lost brother...but only if they can learn to work together.

This movie seems to be quite polarising across the gaming world due to some odd casting choices (cough Wahlberg cough), but this trailer is so far the best of the bunch and although the movie will probably lack any sort of depth, it looks like a movie that will be an entertaining one from start to finish.
